About this deal

Did the same on my main PC and it worked too. After an "upgrade" to iCUE 5.2.pleasedontkillmypc it was gone again. I also like how step 2 is "Connect the Receiver", even though you can't open that window without the receiver present. Shouldn't step 1 be "disconnect the receiver" then? There’s DTS Headphone: X Spatial Audio sound too via HyperX’s Ngenuity software plus you can tweak the equaliser presets or create your own. There’s a dedicated USB dongle rather than Bluetooth support which is a little annoying but we’ll live with it when we have to charge so infrequently. The microphone is removable, so you can get it completely out of the way when you don’t need it. The stem is flexible, but since it’s sheathed in rubber, it has a slight tendency not to hold its shape, unless you don’t bend it very far. It has a 9.5 mm omnidirectional mic, and there’s a mute button built into the base where it plugs into the headset. A gorgeous ring around the mic glows red or green, making it easy to tell in your peripheral vision if you’re live or muted -- another nice detail.

That said, there are a couple of downsides on the wireless front. As mentioned earlier, rated battery life if you're connected to two devices is just 15 hours, which means you'll need to recharge the headset every other day if you're using it mostly for work, or every day if you're using it for work and leisure/commuting. This has made my headset (one of the most expensive on the market) nothing more than a desk ornament... In terms of industrial design and manufacturing, the Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT is effectively the same as the previous SE model. The earcups are light aluminum with a classy silver look, accented by an RGB-lit Corsair logo in the center. The earpads and headband are padded with memory foam and supple leatherette material. The latter looks and feels great, though I do wonder how it will wear--especially as there's no mention of the pads being replaceable.Corsair says it attained this level of comfort by reducing the clamping force and adding some extra padding to the headstrap. And while that increases long-term comfort, it also makes for a headset that slips and slides a bit as I move on and off my treadmill desk to shift between taking photos, writing and editing. The headset never fell off during my testing, but I did need to reach up and readjust it a few times a day. Corsair claims the headset should last about 20 hours on a charge, and there’s a six-foot braided USB-C charging cable you can use to turn the Virtuoso into wired headphones on the PC. When using the cable, your PC can pass full high fidelity 24bity/96KHz audio to the headphones. You can also connect these headphones to an Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or mobile phone with the included five feet of braided 3.5 mm audio cable. Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE - Software The headset uses a custom high-capacity lithium-ion battery with up to 20 hours of life when in wireless mode. When recharging in USB mode, you can continue using the headset as it charges. The Slipstream wireless connection uses Intelligent Frequency Shift (ISF) to ensure the strongest signal possible and has a range up to 60 feet. The headset is compatible with the PlayStation 4 and PC.

can any one at corsair confirm they're rolling out a fix? (and maybe nudge your QA team to actually do compatibility tests before rolling out an update?) If you’re spending more than two bills for headphones, odds are good that you’re going to use them for more than just gaming---they’ll probably stay on your head for many hours a day, for music, movies, or just to chat. To assess these cans, I played a handful of games, including Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus on the PC and God of War on the PS4, along with music and some Netflix.Maybe you can tell me how to make it work all in one? How to make iCue regulate AIO in automatic mode? New features: AAX for Pro Tools, Auto channel mapping, Solo/Mute while cancelling previous solo/mute in Matrix (Shift+Solo/Mute), more headphone models for HPC EQ. We all wish we remembered to charge our devices more often and we all inevitably forget from time to time. That’s why a 300 hour battery life on these wireless cans is so appealing. None of that would matter if the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless sounded and but it’s consistently crisp and powerful. DTS Headphone: X Spatial Audio support further enriches why all PC gamers could do with it, while the noise-cancelling mic works admirably well for those noisy sessions. There is still the tab for the dongle in ICUE and I get the same issue with pairing but the solution that worked for you doesn't work for me, when I switch from wireless to wired mode it just disconnects the dongle and stops the pairing process.
