Capture real life on the Go. Our most portable, wearable, take anywhere-able Polaroid Go Generation 2 instant camera has been upgraded with a large aperture range, precise light sensor, and on-point-exposure settings to make your pictures even better. Yes. Most instant cameras are simple point-and-shoot cameras. You look through a viewfinder, frame your shot, press the shutter button and an “instant” print pops out of the camera. Some models, however, offer additional functions that require a bit more tinkering with the camera when snapping photos. The camera overall is pretty cheap and running it isn't too expensive either, making it a good option if you want to shoot instant on a budget. It also produces 10MP digital photos that you can save via Bluetooth on the app (and you do have to do it this way; there's no internal storage). A cheap option that's good fun for anyone, especially those who aren't too confident with using a camera. Best instant cameras: How we test For full-size instant photos with great quality and that elusive 'vintage look', the Now+ is where it's at. It combines the same image quality as the Polaroid Now with the modern-day features of the OneStep+, giving you the best of both worlds. Additional features built into some instant cameras give you more creative control over your photography. These features may include a selfie mode, a remote shutter, advanced exposure controls (like flashbulb photography), a landscape shooting mode, a macro shooting mode or the ability to transfer images directly to a smartphone via Bluetooth. Some of the latest instant cameras even allow you to remotely control the camera from a smartphone while you’re taking pictures.

There are many ways to share and display instant photos once they've been taken. Be creative and ... [+] have fun collecting and sharing memories. getty Neither are as joyous to use, though, nor will they make you as many friends as the Go – which still takes very pleasing pics. Instax Mini film does work out cheaper than Polaroid Go film, but then you'll also need to replace AA batteries on a Mini whereas the Go just needs a USB connection to top up the power. And the Go boasts double exposures, which you won't get unless you opt for pricier options like the Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic (below).I still love it, though. It's got the most powerful flash on this list (thanks to all those batteries) and it produces the largest photos with great image quality. So if you want sheer scale with no frills, this is your best bet. The Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 is one of the simplest and most affordable of Fujifilm’s instant cameras. The camera features a curvy, ultra-simplistic design, and its casing comes in bright colors. It has automatic exposure so you don’t have to fuss with settings, and a built-in flash for shooting in low-light situations. Discover the beautifully imperfect world of Polaroid photography with our autofocus instant classic.

Love instant photography, but want to "print" images from your phone as well? The Mini Evo produces amazing analog photos with the option to add creative effects in-camera, and also enables you to turn your phone images into real Instax prints. An instant camera offers interesting ways to tap your creativity when taking photographs—and you can ... [+] see the results almost instantly. getty With new and improved power and lens controls, the latest Mini is easier to use than ever before – simply point and shoot, and the auto exposure mode will do the rest. Affordable, colorful, desirable –this is the camera that everybody wants. Polaroid Go offers the same instant gratification of being able to snap a photo and then have a print in your hand within minutes, but the camera is shrunk down to make it much more portable. Features include a self-timer and the ability to capture instant selfies. However, with the smaller camera size comes smaller size prints that are just 2.1 x 2.6-inches. Given the mirrors inside Polaroid cameras, they are much bulkier than their Instax counterparts (which are technically mirrorless cameras!). However, while the Instax Square cameras may be slimmer, to me there's nothing like the tactility of holding a big, boxy Polaroid when you're shooting old-school instant film. If you want images imbued with the same quality as the ones your parents and grandparents took, the Now is sure to Wow.The best instant cameras combine vintage styling with real retro photographs –and they're super affordable, too!
