It worries me that it is probably not long we'll be completely at the mercy of broadcasters and streaming services. No getting around stuff being there one minute and gone the next, censorship, edited versions of stuff, etc. Problem is a large amount of modern television just doesn't repeat well or can be made into DVDs. No one is interested in watching a show like Britain's Got Talent again once it's finished and reality shows struggle as a DVD format as they can only really be viewed in a highlights form.
