Firstly, after resetting the system I've lost access to the preloaded detailed maps in the SatNav, after getting intouch with Kenwood, I've found this is a software issue that can only be sorted by returning the unit to Kenwood. This isn't a problem because the unit is being returned due to the second issue. This interface converts the high level audio output of a new head unit to a low level pre amplified signal which will work with an amplifier. 4 adjustable channels for optimum audio quality, it has a built in ground loop isolator and filters to get the best sound from the amplifier. Antenna cable adapter for Saab cars after 2007 that had Delphi Grundig navigation radios. This cable converts the cars existing special aerial plug to an after market DIN type used by most car radio manufacturers. The Double DIN Mounting kit contains a pair of spring clips and a pair of flat plates in addition to the traditional mounting ‘cage’ and outer trim bezel for the fascia. The spring-clips are sandwiched to either side of the head unit using the flat plates. Screw fixings are supplied. The outer bezel trim snaps into place around the head unit screen.

JVC includes a Double DIN mounting cage with all of its head units. Alpine does not include a mounting cage with its head units.
