Description

While I was under the impression that Barbie was a mononymous stage name, like Cher or Beyoncé, she was born Barbara Millicent Roberts. Snooze. (Ken has a full name too, while we’re here: Kenneth Sean Carson.) Growing up in a made-up town called Willows, Wisconsin, Barbie has no physical doll parents to speak of, though George and Margaret Roberts appear as her mother and father in various books and TV series. These dolls contain two outfits – the first is their primary outfit from the series (their debut outfit from Season 1 or from introduction in Midge and Summer's case), the second is a smaller garment (usually a dress or attached two-piece). They have full articulation similar to the Fashionistas dolls, with rooted eyelashes and accurate faces (e.g. Raquelle’s bears a smirk). Full Name: Raquelle Nia Lee Kim Race/Nationality: Korean, American Age: 22 Hometown: Honolulu, Hawaii Raquelle and her twin brother, Ryan, are the freshest faces around. Raquelle is also no stranger to attracting fresh drama. Though some might say that’s because she seemingly causes most of it!

This is the main series of dolls which will be released in Fall 2013. They include the characters of the series incarnated into dolls. The series was first announced in a press release for New York Toy Fair containing pictures of Teresa, Raquelle, Summer and Midge. These dolls were also at the Toy Fair itself along with dolls for Barbie, Ken and Nikki. There have yet to announce/make dolls for Ryan, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea as well as pet figures for Taffy, Blissa and Tawny. Keep collections to yourself or inspire other shoppers! Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections—they may also appear in recommendations and other places. Skipper is the second-oldest sister in the Roberts family (yes, Barbie’s last name is Roberts). Often seen on her phone or tablet, Skipper is portrayed as the typical teenager. But in Help Wanted, it is revealed that Skipper is actually an inventor. After being fired from multiple jobs, Barbie offers Skipper work at her own shop. While there, Skipper creates several different style gadgets for which Raquelle unwillingly becomes the guinea pig. One of Skipper’s greatest creations? Her Make-Up Bazooka. When there is a fashion emergency, Barbie and her friends can rely on the nearest Fashion Vending Machine to save the outfit! Girls can make their Dream Closet style visions a reality using Barbie doll's new fashion-saving concept. Girls can load the compartments with their favorite Barbie accessories- purses, shoes and jewelry –then turn the levers to rotate their position within the vending machine. Once a fashion item is selected, girls can slide a lever to make it shoot down the vending machine shaft, ready to be stashed in one of the included shopping bags. Completing an outfit was never this fun or easy!" Personalized Keychain - Two-Tone - Custom Colors & Text - Bag Charm / Key Ring / Name Tag - 3D Printed - BXRaquelle is shown gleefully recording the entire interaction on her phone. But, when she notices that the camera is focused on her, she very bluntly states that “It’s probably not me.” The simplicity of this line, coupled with how utterly uninterested Raquelle is, makes it easily one of the best quotes in the entire show. Midge reemerged in the late ’80s as California Dream Midge, as if she had retreated for a decades-long meditation session and suddenly surfaced on the beach, soul restored and polka-dot knee pads strapped on. Several other iterations followed, including Cool Times Midge (for some reason obsessed with popcorn) and then — guess what! — Wedding Day Midge. Yes, someone proposed to the unsexy Barbie doll! Good for her. That someone was Ken’s friend Allan; we’ll get to him in a minute.

The movie’s writer and director Greta Gerwig, along with her partner Noah Baumbach, pulled from a vast network of Barbie–adjacent characters, many of them also named Barbie, to fill their plastic world. While I trust they selected the ones necessary to tell their story, not all of them made the cut, and even those who did don’t get as much air time as, say, Margot Robbie’s feet. Feature Talkin' Ken doll "Based on the web reality series, these beautiful dolls wear super-stylish fashions from the popular show and say some of their favorite phrases! Plus, they repeats messages that girls can record themselves — for tons of interactive fun!" If it wasn’t already obvious, Midge is a bit old-fashioned. Even after her Malibu makeover, she is still the same Midge on the inside. You're reminded of this in the episode, Another Day at the Beach. Here, Barbie attempts to get Midge and her sportier friend Summer to hang out with mixed results. It’s when Barbie gathers them for lunch that this hilarious quote happens. My Job Is Teach Shirt, Teacher Shirt Actually, My Job Is Just Teach Shirt, Hot Pink, My Job It's Just Teach, Funny Gift For Teacher TeeTotally Hair Barbie. This doll has incredible hair. It goes all the way down to her toes, and it’s crimped. What more could you ask for? Margot Robbie seems to have referenced her during a Mexico City stop on the Barbie press tour, though she did not manage to find a wig that extends to her incredibly accomplished feet. I guess she didn’t want hair that doubles as a cape? Thankfully, Miss Totally Hair shows up for a split second in-movie with the correct tress length.

Come On Let's Go Party shirt, birthday party tshirt, girls birthday shirt, doll tshirt, girls birthday gift, trending tshirts Ken doll " Barbie's friends Ken, Summer, Teresa, Nikki, Raquelle, and Midge play a big role in her dream life and are always hanging around the Dreamhouse. Inspired by the reality web series Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse, Barbie doll's friends are brought to life. Each doll captures the animated character's facial details which are highlighted by beautiful rooted eyelashes. The dolls sport recognizable fashions from the show and each come with one additional fashion."

Special mention: Tanner. Even high-powered career women have to clean up after others, an important lesson Barbie doll customers learned in 2006 when Barbie got a puppy named Tanner. In staunch pursuit of unfiltered realism, Mattel gave this good (?) boy tiny little plastic poops that came out of his butt when you pressed down on his tail. The dog was recalled, though not because it grossed people out to have fake poop on their kids’ bedroom carpet. Apparently, a magnet in Barbie’s pooper scooper kept popping off, posing a choking hazard for small children. (Does this mean the poops were big enough not to be a choking hazard?) Anyway, let this be a warning to dog-owning women everywhere: Do not scoop poop with a magnet.

Life In The Dreamhouse goes out of its way to remind you that Barbie is perfect while Raquelle is… not. But that doesn’t stop Raquelle from trying to beat Barbie. And in the episode Perf Pool Party, Raquelle attempts to steal the thunder from Barbie at the blonde's pool party. She vows to do this, then yells “Vengeance!” before rushing offscreen.
