Giro uses a moulding system that fuses the foam inner with the polycarbonate outer using it as a sort of exoskeleton. As with all Giro helmets, this affordable design utilises a WindTunnel ventilation system, enabling air to flow through the helmet with reduced drag, ensuring you don't overheat or slow down throughout high-speed sprints or descents. However, there is still quite a bit of exposed EPS foam, meaning the helmet is susceptible to accidental knocks.
