Yuta – A classmate of Mitsumi’s who initially comes across as arrogant and unapproachable. However, Mitsumi’s friendly nature gradually breaks down his walls. Shima-kun – Mitsumi’s friend and classmate, whose mysterious past slowly comes to light throughout the series. Shima-kun is quiet and reserved, but he opens up to Mitsumi over time. With the new year already off to an interesting start, Mitsumi is eager to get to know her classmates better and get involved at her school. Only time will tell if this country bumpkin can make it in the city, but one thing has become certain: she definitely won't be alone on her journey! Meticulous planning is Mitsumi's forte, but things don't go according to plan on her first day of school. She misses her train stop and finds herself lost and late for the entrance ceremony. To add to her woes, she has to deliver a speech as the new students' representative.
