Description

Many millennia ago, Lucius was a proud Space Marine of the Emperor's Children Legion, following his primarch, Fulgrim, across the galaxy in the name of the Emperor. Forsaking all experience other than the art of close combat with the sword, Lucius bore the scars of battle with pride and, over time, he began to equate pain with success. By the time the Emperor's Children had been seduced by Horus' rebellion, Lucius had cut deep lines across his face, head and chest, linking his scars in a maze of irregular patterns that distorted and deformed his features. Lucius slowly descended into madness. He was compelled by the whispers in his mind to commit ever more extreme acts, furthering an intense obsession with being the perfect swordsman. Kryptos follows Nykona Sharrowkyn and Sabik Wayland as they conduct a mission on Cavor Sarta to capture a Kryptos, a bio-engineered coding device that will allow the Loyalists to intercept and decrypt Traitor communications.

According to myth, the Angel Exterminatus precedes the War in Heaven and thus belongs to the oldest myth of the Aeldari Myth Cycles. The great Houses of Eldanesh and Ulthanesh had successfully conquered the galaxy, but still longed for conquest.

Contributors of the series include artists, audiobook narrators, and compilation or abridgement editors. The Horus Heresy is an ongoing series of science fantasy set in the fictional Warhammer 40,000 setting of tabletop miniatures wargame company Games Workshop. Penned by several authors, the series takes place during the Horus Heresy, a fictional galaxy-spanning civil war occurring 10,000years before the far future of Warhammer 40,000. The war is described as a major contributing factor to the game's dystopian environment.

Angel Exterminatus has some faults, but overall it is an excellent novel with gripping fight scenes and memorable characters. If the entire premise seems weak then action is good enough that we can forgive it, and no novel that ends with a primarch becoming a daemon prince will ever be a wasted read. While competing in the yearly contest held by the Elders of Chemos, Lucius' impeccable swordsmanship caught the eye of a hulking stranger who watched from the shadows. During the last round of the Golden Sword, there was a disruption in the tourney lists, and the young swordsman found himself fighting against a famed champion twice his age.Eventually, on a nameless moon near Damnos, Lucius was cut down by the shape-shifting Necron duellist known only as the Phasing Sword. Not even the Necron's body of living metal could prevent the Slaaneshi Chaos Champion's strange possession-curse from taking hold, however, for the undying Necron took a cold pride in its victory, and that was the seed of its undoing. Lucius was reborn inside his killer within solar days, the xenos warrior's necrodermis body drizzling away like molten metal to reveal the twisted swordsman, as arrogant and maniacal as ever. https://ipaudio6.com/wp-content/uploads/K40K/1%20SER/HORUS%20HERESY/23%20Angel%20Exterminatus/26.mp3 It becomes even easier to sympathize with Perturabo when he is juxtaposed with Fulgrim, his brother and fellow conspirator in Horus’s civil war against the Imperium. Fulgrim was once one of the few brothers with which Perturbabo shared a thread of camaraderie, someone who understood Perturabo’s own dedication to perfection — but that was long ago. Those who read FULGRIM will know that Fulgrim and his legion, the Emperor’s Children, have fallen far in their worship of the Chaos god Slaanesh. Perturabo is disgusted by the devotion of the Emperor’s Children to the pursuits of the flesh and their degrading discipline. When Fulgrim approaches Perturabo with a quest to obtain alien super weapons, Perturabo fully expects he is being deceived in some manner but the prospect is tantalizing enough to secure the support of the Iron Warriors. Slaanesh was loath to let such a promising protégé slip into oblivion. Over the next few solar weeks, the Artificer Armour Commander Cyrius wore began to warp and change. Cyrius' hair fell out in clumps, and dark lines appeared under his flesh, slowly pushing through his skin as a maze of scar tissue. Soon, Lucius had emerged completely. All that remained of his executioner was a screaming, writhing face, subsumed for eternity into Lucius' armour.

Before his ascension, "The Warsmith" was the castellan of the fortress of Khalan-Ghol on Medrengard. [3] In addition to his martial abilities, he was a collector of several interesting tomes of Chaos knowledge. After the fortress was destroyed, Honsou found one tome that led him to the location of the Daemon Prince M'kar the Reborn. [4] Related Articles Brotherhood of the Storm is a precursor to Scars ( Book 28). It focuses first on the budding friendship of Shiban and Torghun featured in Scars, as they wrap up the Chondax campaign. It also sheds light on Targutai Yesugei's psychic awakening on Chogoris and how he joined Jagahtai's khaganate. Finally, it records how Ilya Ravallion, the logistician from the Departmento Munitorum, came to join the White Scars.Armour of Shrieking Souls - Lucius is able to constantly reincarnate within the body of any being that manages to kill him, effectively making him immortal. So long as the killer takes some measure of satisfaction from the victory over Lucius, this will result in the victor's body transforming and their soul becoming trapped in Lucius' suit of power armour, a Daemonic artefact known as the Armour of Shrieking Souls. This armour draws its hellish strength from the thousands of souls trapped within it, providing Lucius with enhanced protection from any onslaught he encounters. Lucius is also able to focus the residual energies of the imprisoned souls' torment into a lethal sonic crescendo on an opponent's mind at will, causing the foe immense pain. Lucius' ancient suit of Mark IV Maximus Power Armour is all but hidden under a writhing skin of tortured flesh. Fabius shows his face in one of the books with the Raven Guard in it (cant remember the name off the top of my head).
