The GPS Pro provides a battery life of up to 16 hours when connected to your iOS device via Bluetooth, and supports a GPS reporting rate of 10 times per second (configurable).

But this dongle also has benefits for owners of 3G, 3GS, iPad 1 and 2 and even the latest iPhone4 models as, in testing, it proved to be much more sensitive than the internal receives in existing products, particularly so in the case of the 3G and 3GS whose receivers have been notoriously insensitive. I think Dan has a great idea to attach the bad elf to a buoy on a short lead directly above the anchor, but is it waterproof (they claim to be only splashproof), and is the bluetooth signal strong enough to travel at least 150ft and penetrate into the interior of the vessel? We will see but I have doubts about the reliability of this logic and therefore about GPS-based anchor alarms in general. A generous amount of famous English malt is masterfully balanced with an astounding 45 ounces of fresh hops – including English Cascade – per barrel.
