This is definitely a WOW book for me because I was surprised by every page at the way the author and illustrator turned each mistake into something beautiful. Really fun idea but not sure of who its audience is meant to be -not sophisticated enough for adults and too many parts to destroy for little ones! To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Mud , Crazy Hair Day and the bestselling Touch and Feel Kisses series with over 800,000 copies in print. The only thing is the ball of paper came off fairly quickly, but once I stuck it back down, we haven't had the problem since.Finding your creative spark can be challenging for an adult and it may be even harder for your little reader; which is why these ten lovely pictures books are perfect for helping to foster and develop creativity in children. When ever my children are up set for making a mistake I always remind them that Pre- K is for making a mess and it is O. Here the wonderfully eye-catching illustrations, bold design and sturdy pages eagerly invite the reader to dive in and explore the possibilities available to us if we view our mistakes as opportunities. When I first read this with my daughter (who is a 5-year-old perfectionist) I thought “cute but I doubt it will make a difference. In this book, every page begins with a 'mistake' that ultimately unravels, lifts out, or pulls up to become a surprising work of beauty. This is a quick read and can be read with preschoolers (though some of the flaps may be fragile), but it can also be read with elementary students.Perhaps give the students discarded items (candy wrappers, old magazines, broken toys) to use to create found art!
