About this deal
It didn't come with a charger because of [insert bullshit reason to make you spend more money on aftermarket products] so I've been using the one that came with my Pixel 4a to keep it charged (it doesn't specify exactly what the wattage is on that block, but I'm assuming it's between 20W and 30W). The stunning white colourway offers you a clean, sleek wall charger that can be used to efficiently charge your USB-C compatible devices.
Keep in mind, of course, that charging speeds on the Pixel 6 Pro vary depending on how long the phone has been charging and where it is in the charge cycle. So clearly, you’re going to get more juice from Google’s new charger compared to the old one, but not the 30W listed on the brick itself.
Google has abandoned those old standards to the trashcan of history, which isn’t great for broader compatibility.
Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page. The 22W power draw is capped by the phone, not the plug, so treat this as a criticism of Google’s marketing rather than the quality of this adapter. Do not use a charger with a damaged enclosure, damaged or bent plug blades, or other form of physical damage. When all is said and done, if a charger is certified for USB-C PPS fast charging, it’s going to get the job done. as real users, posing a threat to a site’s security, so the site sometimes runs random security checks. Most likely, this wattage was settled on because it provides more flexibility, enabling the charger to work on other devices including Chromebooks, the Pixel Stand, and more.
