The Incredibles comes packaged in a single-width keepcase with a snap-in tray, wrapped in a shiny holographic slipcover. He soon discovers that it will take a super family effort to rescue the world from total destruction.

That may sound like an afterschool special, but in the hands of the Pixar storytellers, they are the hallmarks of a film classic. The characters are captivating and convincing - forget the emotional knee-jerking of the likes of Bambi for a moment and savour the real-life emotions displayed here. When a stranger named Mirage (voiced by Elizabeth Pena) secretly recruits Bob for a potential mission, the old glory days spin in his head, even if his body is a bit too plump for his old super suit. Extras: Language(s): English, Hindi, Russian, Kazakh, Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English, Subtitles: The Incredibles: English, Hindi; The Incredibles 2: English, Russian, Interactive Menu, Screen ratio 1:2.EX mix that stretches, like Elastigirl, across the English, French and Spanish tracks, you can be assured that the phenomenal visual transfer is matched in the audio department, too. I have loved this film since it first came out and already had the DVD but wanted the better picture and sound quality that you get from a blu-ray disc. But fifteen years later, they have been forced to adopt civilian identities and retreat to the suburbs where they have no choice but to retire as superheroes to live a 'normal life' with their three children Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack (who were secretly born with superpowers). Like any good father and husband, he’s going to do the same crap every day until death offers its sweet embrace.

The extras not added in the R2 version is the "Vowellet: An Essay by Sarah Vowell" and "Character Interviews", which I wanted to see. Key among them are the family strife between Bob and Helen over Helen's desire for stability and Bob's wishes for adventure and the idea that Dash and Violet aren't allowed to be special for fear of them standing out.Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. In contrast to the R1 vs R2, my personal choice would be the R2 due to the hindi dubb, otherwise if u want the other extras not available in the R2, get the R1 DVD instead. Nelson, Poltergeist), an oversized man of action who winds up on the wrong side of a law suit after a man whose life he saved sues him. But it is the blending of this normality of hidden talent, crushed aspirations and the longing to relive the past, with the fantastic alternate reality of actually unleashing those powers and dreams that make The Incredibles really live up to its name. In the second, this puppy looks 100 times better, because the software for animating the hair was that much more evolved.

Catch Bird's rant about "the animation genre," and you get the whole idea about where this guy is coming from. Whether you pick up the DVD for its educational or humour value, there’s a lot of great stuff to explore; it would be worth the cost even if they hadn’t included the movie.

There's an effect in here that is repeated from the movie, but is seen in more detail, and it looks tremendous. The newest film from Pixar combines human characters with the same attention to detail that has made all of their previous films so memorable. In it, Dash runs back and forth throughout the forest, trying to stay ahead of Syndrome's army of goons who are chasing him in small flying saucers.
