The basic essence is the same but the addition of the fruit notes that last makes it more tolerable and wearable. Minotaure can be wearable all year long but I will be cautious to use it in hot summers, specially if you live in a hot humid area. Moving from NYC to Florida, I have worn it less - it is a Fall/Winter scent that can be difficult to wear in really warm weather.
