About this deal

They are pretty moisturizing, I’ve heard so many people saying that these aren’t moisturizing but for me they are. It’s one of the “EU 26 fragrances” that has to be labelled separately (and cannot be simply included in the term “fragrance/perfume” on the label) because of allergen potential. So it's still cold outside - I got into the car this morning and it was -6 ℃ - this is one of the perks of getting up at 4. This product has proven to be extremely beneficial for my lips as I had always been complaining about my dry and chapped lips in winters.

The consistency of these is a lot more sticky than most lip balms but I actually like that, this doesn’t simply coat the lips like petroleum jelly but it doesn’t instantly absorb either and I always prefer a lip balm that’s more sticky than waxy. This does have a strong scent so as mentioned above this is the passionfruit scent which I absolutely adore but my boyfriend doesn’t. Other than that, it is a very effective emollient and occlusive that reduces skin moisture loss so it is quite common in smaller amounts in moisturizers. The former one is common for oils and waxes and it means that it sits on top of the skin hindering water to evaporate out of the top layers.

As I mentioned in my review of the Tokyo Milk Dark Salted Caramel lip elixir, for a while I didn’t like lip balms that you had to apply with your finger. With it being so cold - my lips and face don't appreciate the harsh, freezing temperatures (okay I'm slightly exaggerating) but my lips are cracked and I'm terrible for chewing on them when they're like this. A community for those wanting to cut down on beauty consumerism, while finding inspiration in your existing products!

The watermelon lip balm is a very subtle lip balm (in colour) but does leave your lips with a nice shine. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Unlike a lot of fruity lip balms I like the tint in the fact that it’s not a white lip balm that will leave white cast on my lips. Raspberry: This one smells like straight up gummy worms, it does smell like raspberries a bit but it’s such a strong, sweet scent so it’s difficult to smell the raspberry.

We’ve got lip balms, lip butters, lip roll-ons and other lip care products, formulated with your smile in mind. Perfect lips Simply rub the butter between your fingers to warm it, and the crystals will instantly melt so you can apply as normal. Passionberry is by far one of my favourite of the 5 - it's a purple colour and I do love a good shade of purple - however don't let that put you off as it doesn't make your lips purple (quite the opposite in fact). So to kick start the month I am starting up with a review of one of my favourite lip product, something that I think I am incomplete without! In cosmetics, it’s often in products that are supposed to keep your skin matte as it has great oil-absorbing abilities. Similar to other plant oils, it's loaded with nourishing and moisturizing fatty acids: it's a high linoleic acid oil (70%) and has only smaller amounts of oleic acid (11%) ( this might be great for acne-prone skin). Compared to the pure form it's more stable, has longer shelf life, but it's also more poorly absorbed by the skin. It has polyphenols including anthocyanins and ellagitannins that have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This ideal lip balm requires only a very little amount to be applied on the lips and it has an extremely lightweight formula.

I did find it a little sticky (for girls that may be an issue with longer hair) but not for me :) It tastes and smells amazing. Ricinus communis, Lanolin, Polyglyceryl-3 Beeswax, Aroma, Cera Alba, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Silica, Benzyl Benzoate, Citrullus vulgaris, Tocopheryl Acetate, Limonene, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Benzyl Alcohol, Tocopherol, Linalool, Methyl 2-Octynoate, CI 77891, CI 19140, CI 15850. I love these Born Lippy lip balms so much, I highly recommend them but only if you like strong scents and flavors. It doesn’t leave a major purple tint, it’s just a tiny bit of color and it’ll most likely blend in with your lips and just make them look shiny. The latter one, the humectant property, is surprising and comes from the unique property of ricinoleic acid (the dominant fatty acid in castor oil) having an extra water-loving -OH group on its otherwise oil-loving fatty chain. Castor oil is sourced from the castor bean plant native to tropical areas in Eastern Africa and the Mediterranean Basin. Another fruity favourite, our Swipe It Lip Balm will give your pout a moisture hit and silky smooth finish.
