Healthy Mix says “instant blending gel, flawless complexion, undetectable coverage” on the back of the pump-action bottle and “16h radiance-boosting” on the front – the two foundations are after pretty much the same thing. Anti-pollution screen that prevents the adherence of carbon particles and lets the skin breathe, SPF 30 UV screen that protects skin from UVA and UVB rays, PA +++ providing UVA protection for over 8 hours, 24-hours hydration thanks to 40% of water in the formula. I do find that it dries down to a slightly velvety finish, and while I don’t find it drying, I don’t use it as often as I like, because I fear that the velvety finish might dry my skin. Bourjois City Radiance Skin Protecting Foundation with brightening effect freshens and evens the complexion. I wish I could say City Radiance is on par with my favorites, Healthy Mix and Healthy Mix Serum, but I'm afraid it isn't.I am quite impressed by this formula, though you can tell that I didn’t like how it melted down on me.

The City Radiance is definitely brightening and I’d say that the coverage is very good, though I didn’t find it the most pleasant foundation to apply. But if you think you’ll be bothered by a thicker feel (I’ve just thought – it’s very much like the feel of a suncream, which makes sense! I’ve stared at my face for so many hours, now, that I’m struggling to uncross my eyes, so I would love to know what you think. This Bourjois foundation has a formula that boasts of a smoothing as well as evening out effect, that is also smudge proof for all day wear. Ever since I came across their Healthy Mix foundation (reformulated into something that no longer suits my skintone), I’d been smitten with the brand. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. I unfortunately did not notice it to infuse my skin with radiance, although I do like using it on days with long hours, because it lasts well on my skin without turning oily, fading or slipping.

If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. It’s such a good little base – it behaves exactly how I want a foundation to behave, with a light and comfortable texture and a fresh, glowy finish. Oooh I am rather excited because I do like a Bourjois foundation and once again, I have been totally sucked in by the name.

Currently the chosen ones in the en suite cabinet are: Armani Maestro Glow, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, Chanel Les Beiges, Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet (I’m working on a comparison post), Max Factor Miracle Match and Laura Mercier’s Silk Creme Foundation, which I think I prefer to the new Candleglow, but the jury’s still out. Some say that it causes cancer (and/or accumulate in body tissue), other says that it helps to retard development of cancer due to its anti-oxidation property Either way, it is FDA and EU approved at the moment. MAC 187 when used with large circular motion ==> streaky hell LOL I had that problem at the beginning.
