About this deal

I did wonder why there needed to be a new CBeebies CD, when one came out a couple of years ago, but there's a pretty fast turnover of shows. Disc 1 6 Mike the Knight (Theme Tune) Disc 1 7 Meet the Veggies (Mr Bloom's Nursery) Disc 1 8 Gigglebiz (Theme Tune) Disc 1 9 In the Night Garden.

I have noticed that he seems to be aware of the different styles of music as he dances differently to the songs and he repeats the same style of dancing for particular songs; for example for The Yacki Song he dances like Baby Jake does on the show whilst when listening to songs from Rastamouse he always bops along to the music and does a laid back dance rather than a mad, wild dance. When the Yacki Song from Baby Jake came on I honestly thought she was going to burst with excitement!I appreciate that I am not the X-factor or Britain's Got Talent Material, but I can't be that bad, can I? Little man instantly recognised familiar songs from his favourite shows such as Baby Jake, Mr Bloom’s Nursery, In the Night Garden, Raa Raa the Noisy Lion and Waybuloo. To have all these songs together on one CD is a dream come true to little ones and that's exactly what the new CBeebies: The Album has. There is a mixture of theme tunes and songs from many of the Cbeebies shows over the last couple of years. It is lovely to see him have so much fun dancing and I think it is great that because it is an album I do not have to have the TV on for little man to dance to songs from his favourite shows and it is great that his favourite songs can be played again and again. I am very fond of CBeebies so I was mostly happy with this product, only some of the song selections let it down. They slightly seemed like filler tracks, but given there's 50 tracks in all, a couple of less familiar songs is to be expected. On the first listen there were some tracks that she wanted me to skip – mainly the themes for programmes that she doesn't know or watch – but all the ones that related to programmes she knew she was thrilled by.
