Not my type of fragrance at all, but this one gives me a bit of permission to remember what perfumes are meant to do: give pleasure. I truly hope others have a different experience, because Signature has great staying power for a celeb scent. I purchased this due to reviews stating the similarities with Marc Jacobs Decadence but without the plumminess. I think if you were to use all the body products it would be far too strong just 1 squirt with this one. Those three notes pretty much carry out through the remainder of the fragrance with a hint of rose and bergamot in the dry down.

I do wish it was a bit stronger and maybe a little heavier on the praline, but it's still a lovely perfume. it reminds me of angel a bit but with less chocolate i think, though it's been awhile since i wore angel. It definitely has a fruity-floral scent and can be a bit strong for some but it is worth it as it lasts. They mention that it has a great scent, lasts well when sprayed on and that it's good value for money. This fragrance starts off as Red Pearl (peppery passionfruity praline on me) and dries down to MJ Decadence without as much plummy powdery note.

I do get some rose but more so peony and mostly jasmine on my skin in the light/detectable floral layers. If I was pressed to compare this to another fragrance I would say it's in the same vein as Kim Kardashian Gold. The fragrance starts with light, sparkling top notes of red fruits and bergamot, then develops its heart notes of lily of the valley, elegant rose, wild jasmine and spicy peony.

I'm going to say that By Invitation smells similar to Decadence by Marc Jacobs, the difference is the way the patchouli and praline mix together.
