An alternative way of holding the camera is by keeping the camera strap above the left shoulder and under the right one, and push the camera away from the body until the strap tightens.The advantage of using the EE-1 when shooting is that you can keep your camera further away from your eyes and keep track of what is going on around your subject. With it being permanently mounted on a rifle, it may require less fiddling than the EE-1 which is more portable.
