About this deal

Offering 100Ws of power in a compact body (sizing in at just 120x76x76 mm, of the size of a can for scale!), as well as 390 full-power flashes from a single charge of its rechargeable battery! This makes the AD100 Pro perfect for traveling photographers, event photographers, as well as any on-location shoots, due to its wireless, portable and lightweight nature. You can find the wireless triggers here– they are brand specific for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Pentax, Olympus and Panasonic. I then found out that the only way to get it for the AD200 pro is to by the AD-B2. At least there would be one light then. Another possibility would be to buy an AD400 Pro. (would be still within the budget). I would like to see this ability added to both the AD400 Pro and AD600 Pro strobes, too, for when dialling in power on the strobe itself. Not having this ability isn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s a handy time-saving option to have in certain circumstances.

Battery life with the AD200 has been quite good- right on par with Godox's lithium rechargeable battery speedlites. This is another easy win for the Profoto B10. The AD400 is much larger, almost twice the size, in fact. The B10 weighs 3.3 lbs, while the AD400 is 4.63 lbs. User Interface Range: up to 200 ft with obstructions (normal building construction), up to 1,000 ft clear line of sight On delivery you must inspect the goods carefully for damage as Audio Volt is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises Audio Volt of such within three working days from the date of delivery. ALL IN ONE. ALLEGION.

Overall, the AD400Pro and AD600Pro are both amazing portable flashes that perform very well in both indoor and outdoor settings. Comparing the modelling lamps, the AD600Pro comes out on top with a 38W COB LED, compared to the 30W COB LED on the AD400Pro.

I was pretty close to it, but to be fair, it’s a 4ft octabox. With a smaller box, an aperture of, say f/4, I could’ve gotten quite a bit more distance and possibly been able to lower the ISO. ISO800 isn’t unreasonable for video, though. The remotes for both flashes are pretty similar aside from one major missing feature on Profoto's. The Godox XPro remote shows the output of the flash on the remote, while the Profoto doesn't. You can still control the power output up or down, but the remote itself doesn't display what the power output will be. Godox is also releasing their own range of modifiers to fit directly to the unit. However, as a shooter who already uses Godox lights, I have several Bowens mount modifiers so I find myself using the Bowens mount adapter almost every time.

Conclusion

Also, the .rar format has changed in recent updates so you may simply need to update your archiving application (e.g., update Winzip to the latest version). Or you can use the latest version of the open source 7Zip. Disable driver signing [Windows 10, G1] Both flash batteries can be charged while they are being used. This is a huge upgrade from previous flashes that required the battery to be charged separately. Light Modifiers and Mounts Many thanks to Paul and Lex for helping me out with this bit. There’s no video for it yet, though. That’ll be coming with the review for the Godox XPro-P trigger for Pentax. The video for this is now live over on the Godox XPro-P review. As far as the modeling light- my limited experience with it so far has been outdoor in the late afternoon, in my living room studio, and in an abandoned church. The modeling light worked well with a reflector in all three of those conditions, and a double baffled 48" octobox worked in the living room as well as the abandoned church.

This similarity in power seems about right to me. When I compared the AD600 Pro to the AD600BM a few months, I did see about a 1/2 to 2/3 of a stop increase on the AD600 Pro when using the same modifiers. And the AD400 Pro is about 1/2 to 2/3 of a stop less powerful than the AD600 Pro. Pros When we initially set out that day to test the XPro-P trigger, we hadn’t planned to have the AD400 Pro audition for us at the same time. We had originally hoped to use the AD200, but we ended up not doing. The reasons why we didn’t use the AD200 will be explained in the XPro-P review in a few days, but it forced us to use the AD400 Pro. Supports Accessories with Adapter Ring: With the specially designed new Godox mount to install lighter and more portable accessories which can be used in combination. As you explain it is how I understood what Lee was saying. And that is exactly what lead to my point about Profoto adapters. I've had in my studio for at least 15 years, several adapters that will adapt Elinchrom, Bowens or Bron to Profoto heads. These are all commercially available adapters and have been available for quite some time. Right from the outset, it’s clear that Godox has put some thought into making the AD400Pro flash even more transportable and convenient by providing a carry case with the unit itself – an accessory that the AD600Pro does not come with.
