About this deal

Mo Ran] was used to Chu Wanning being tormented to the breaking point at his own hands, as Mo Ran crushed his dignity and defiled his purity. But Mo Ran couldn’t stand Chu Wanning being bruised and scarred at the hands of anyone else. He appears to be a gentleman, yet is in fact a hypocritical and ruthless leader who will sacrifice anyone for personal gain. He harbours a deep resentment against Chu Wanning.

WARNING: This Review will include mentions or talk about talk about most subjects present in the book, including but not limited to rape, abuse, NSFW/sexual scenes and so on so forth, probably not extensively or in detail but I will talk about them nevertheless. The review will also probably include spoilers.] The villains behind all of Mo Ran’s miseries finally came to light as Mo Ran fought to protect his lover Shizun with his life. His Shizun also protected Mo Ran with his life many times during these 2 lifetimes. Their love for each other is just so deep, so real, so selfless and so heartbreaking that makes me shout out to everyone that you must read this novel! Mo Ran?" Going in I was warned this book was going to be painful and let me tell you this book does not pull any punches. It is all knives. This fan translation has been removed. and then him touching his chest and saying yes it is warm bcs his wanning touched him there ohmygod im sobbing OneFlowerNoSwords Fandoms: 二哈和他的白猫师尊 - 肉包不吃肉 | The Husky and His White Cat Shizun - Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat The novel began with Mo Ran (ML, a.k.a. Mo Wei Yu, a.k.a. Ta Xian Jun), the devious, villainous mortal cultivation world Emperor committed suicide using poison. He had killed his uncle and auntie, his Empress, decimated many cultivation sects, imprisoned and raped his teacher, Shizun, Chu Wan Ning for 8 years until he died. After Shizun’s death, there was nothing left for Mo Ran to continue living. His life is cursed, he was lonely and living was meaningless. Moreover, everyone in the cultivation world had all united to take revenge on him for his heinous crimes. I'm really curious what kind of person was he, before becoming Taxian-Jun. We've seen just a glimpses of him but he seemed such a sweet child. This novel is a master class in pain and through it, you will experience all the different kinds of pain 2Ha(another name for the novel) has to offer as the author finds more and more innovative ways to stab youOnto the "love interest" - Chu Wanning. I found him a lot more bearable and somewhat more compelling than Mo Ran, his issues were also handled slightly better imo. Towards the latter half of the book it is revealed that he has some sort of feelings towards Mo Ran, although with how he is even if they are presented as such its hard to believe that Chu Wanning would be romantically interested in anyone. At the time Mo Ran is like 16 and Chu Wanning is probably 24-26? idk. It is weird. He pushes those thoughts away, finding them horrible and himself disgusting, he does not persue Mo Ran or the feelings he has towards him. Nevertheless it was introduced kinda weirdly and after the way Mo Ran is handled I do not trust the author to handle this character any better. I know or I've heard there is more to it later on but this is what is presented in volume one, this is how I will talk about it for now. Wanning” Mo Ran held the other man close, a disquieting truth unfurled its cruel banner within his consciousness, feeling the small frame of the other man against him, his arms unconsciously gripping him painfully tight. The first half of the novel is just the most heart wrenching solid thing ever. However, my main issue is how the novel starts spiralling in the second half and by the last major arc, it just feels like an exposition dump and a convoluted mess. It’s such a shame considering the sheer talent of the author. Meatbun can really write, she can make you feel emotions more vivid than your own, I just wished the latter half of the story maintained the same quality as book 1 Of all the revelations, the one that stunned him the most was that the Shizun he had hated to the bone in his previous life had always been protecting him from the shadows… other gripes i have with the story, which i'm gonna pile here bc i've finished reading all the fan-translated chapters:

Man, this is a mammoth book. It took me two whole weeks to read this and near the end I really started to skim by the chapter. most recently, i've been encountering protagonists and/or love interests that largely emulate some level of moral righteousness + flawless character power potential (which has its place and can be very lovely), so getting to meet the absolute disaster duo that is chu wanning and mo ran has been an immense pleasure. batsandstuff Fandoms: 二哈和他的白猫师尊 - 肉包不吃肉 | The Husky and His White Cat Shizun - Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat Chu Wan Ning is the cultivation world’s most powerful cultivator (later surpassed by his disciple, Mo Ran) and the embodiment of purity and morals. CWN’s demeanour was cold, strict and stern. As a result, all of SiSheng Peak’s disciples will scamper away or hushed when he enters the dining hall or attends events. But under that cold facade is a delicate, compassionate, kind soul who also yearned for companionship, understanding and acceptance by others. He could construct a barrier to shield everyone from the bad weather yet not let others find out about his kindness. When he broke the Sect’s rules himself, he willingly took on the punishment which was meant for the disciples, leading them by example.rating this based on what i've read of the fan translations, i just hate having read a whole novel's worth of content and not being able to review my thoughts on GR lol. That probably doesn't even make sense, so I'll just say that I LOVED this volume, and I'm so happy with where the story went.
