I’ve been using it for about a year now and this review is based on both my personal experience with it and the research I did while deciding which juicer might be the best option for me.If you’re looking for a great juicer, this might be the one for you. I’ve outlined both the pros and the cons below to help you make an informed decision. Nama J2 Cold Press Juicer Review

Thirdly, the Nama J2's slow speed creates minimal foam and froth which enhances the flavor of the juice and makes it taste clean and fresh. This slower speed does mean that it took almost a minute – 58 seconds – to extract the juice from a single apple, but it did so with very little noise, measuring an average of just 64 dB, which is about the equivalent of a normal conversation. The Nama J2 juicer comes with a safety feature that makes is both child-safe and incredibly practical to use. When you add your produce, you close the lid, turn on the juicer and the juicer starts doing its magic. If you open the lid, it automatically (and immediately) turns off, so you never have to worry about leaving the juicer unattended around children. Despite the many moving parts, the Nama J2 juicer is also surprisingly easy to clean. First, it doesn’t get too clogged up or dirty during the juicing process. Centrifugal juicers tend to fling bits of fruit and veg everywhere, whereas the Nama J2 keeps it neat and contained. The juicer comes with a three-tier system. The first tier consists of its wide, bulky base where its motor and power dial is found. This dial can be set to On, Off, and Reverse.I used the J1 for years before switching to the J2 and was extremely happy with it. Think of the Nama J2 Juicer like an extra cozy seat you’d pay more for at the movie theater and the J1 as a slightly less cozy seat in the same row. You’re still seeing the same movie, but if you have the extra money, then the cozy seat is always a nice upgrade. One of the standout features of the Nama J2 is its ability to get a high yield out of your fruit and veg with minimum effort. Thanks to its large hopper, you don’t have to chop your juice or smoothie ingredients into small pieces, as is the case with the majority of juicers I've tried. At the end of the day, only you can make the decision of which juicer is best for you. Based on the other juicers I’ve used, there aren’t any that I would recommend with the same confidence as Nama juicers, but there are other alternatives based on your needs or in case you decide to save up for a juicer: The Nama J1 Cold Press juicer Secondly, it means the pulp has also been squeezed, making it drier than in other juicers I’ve tried. This makes it less messy and thus easier to get rid of.

Starting from the top, it's most notable for being a self-feeding juicer. As a result, ingredients placed in a chamber on the top of the unit are juiced automatically once it is turned on, without the need for any supervision. When the dial is switched to the On position, a small plastic blade guides pieces of fruit into the chamber. This fruit is then pressed against the strainer by the rotating auger, which drills down into the fruit, extracting the juice and filtering out everything else. This includes pips, pulp, skin, cores and more. Next up we juiced carrots which just had to be cut in half lengthways and again the juice was very clear and smooth with no froth. The juice yield was almost 46% which is an average result. The J2 has a special strainer that’s made of stainless steel, which allows for the slow squeezing process of the produce. This helps minimize oxidation, which makes for a more nutrient-dense, better tasting juice. If you're not already familiar with the Nama J2 and are looking to learn a bit about it, we'll begin by covering the features that have allowed it to gain such notoriety in the juicer world. However, given that this juicer is also one of the most attractive juicers I’ve tried, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Design-wise, I think the Nama J2 has the perfect combination of modern aesthetics and 70s retro feel and I’m a really big fan, so I don’t mind it standing out. If it’s not to your taste, its size and shape may be a dealbreaker. Performance

As soon as you close it again, it automatically starts juicing again (unless you manually turn it off first). I find this very handy while juicing as I can easily add a few extra ingredients I may have forgotten, without having to manually turn the juicer off and on each time.If you’ve ever used a centrifugal juicer or a high speed blender, the Nama J2 Cold Press Juicer is much quieter. It still makes sound, but it’s far from being noisy and you could easily hold a conversation and listen to music while using it. While the precursor to the J2 juicer, the J1 juicer, allows you to make juice, smoothies, nut milks, and sorbet, the J2 “only” allows you to make juice, smoothies, and nut milks. The J1 might therefore be a better fit for you depending on your needs (more on that in the “J1 or J2?” section below). Obviously, this saves a lot of time as you don’t need to stand next to the Nama J2 feeding ingredients for 5 to 15 minutes. Instead, it does all the work by itself, making for a very smooth process that is undoubtedly a large factor in the Nama J2's popularity.

Thanks to its tiered design, the Nama J2 juicer uses a mixture of crushing and pressing to extract the juice. Not only does this system mean you get almost every last drop of juice from your fruit and veg, but it means the pulp has been squeezed and is, therefore, drier than in other juicers I’ve tried. This makes it easier to get rid of. I’ve used this juicer more than a dozen times during my testing and have never experienced a bad batch of juice. Not a single bit of pulp has made its way into my drinks; there is minimal foam and having the perfect-sized plastic containers to catch the juice and pulp makes the whole process convenient. The Nama Cold Press Juicer makes delicious and nutrient-rich juices, smoothies and plant-based milks. It is easy to clean and safe for the entire family. The Nama Cold Press Juicer produces more juice with better flavour in less time. Time to get juicing! New revolutionary technology allows you to load your entire recipe and walk away, saving you time in the kitchen.
