Don’t get me wrong, I like the Vivobarefoot Primus Asana, but if the price makes you wince, I wouldn’t break the bank for this shoe. Also, I’d suggest looking around for Vivobarefoot coupons to help bring their price down a bit. Performance Note, this shoe is not intended to be used for serious training, and I’d suggest not using them for running, versatile training, and other exercises like plyometrics that will stress the Woolmark and Wildhide upper. When I put the Primus Trail Knit FG shoes on for the first time, I said ‘Woah’. The fit is incredible. Imagine a sporty, technical slipper if you can, and you’re sort of there. A slipper in the sense the Primus Trail Knit FG is broad in the toe and easy to slide on. The upper is made from a combination of smooth and suede leather (or only suede) in various colors. The Michelin sole with deep lugs results in a less intense ground feel, but the flexibility of the shoes is surprisingly good, especially considering how robust the outsole appears. This sole type is definitely great for off-road adventures too, but honestly, I would be afraid to ruin them in a wet and muddy environment.

Each shoe also comes with a removable insole. The Lite and Lite Knit insoles are foam topped with recycled fabric. They’re easy to wash and clean (definitely necessary for a gym or running shoe). New VIVOBAREFOOT Gobi Boot Winterized is a versatile lace-up boot featuring faux shearling lining. While they might appear tough and chunky, they feel soft and flexible. Although not as soft as their Autumn Gobi boots, they still offer good softness for winter boots (getting even softer with wear) and are gorgeously made. The Primus Lite Knit is a fantastic minimalist running shoe that can easily double as your go-to gym shoe or everyday footwear to pair with casual and athletic outfits. Its upper is made from breathable synthetic materials, providing comfort throughout the day. When it comes to daily wear, I enjoyed the Vivobarefoot Primus Asana. Honestly, this is probably one of my favorite Vivobarefoot shoes from an appearance point of view.

Cozy: less volume in the toes part and around ankles (same volume around the middle part of the foot)SIZING: The sole construction, which wraps around the side edges of the shoe, enhances lateral stability during intensive movements. The thin and highly flexible sole provides excellent multi-directional traction for fast and sudden movements. One minor complaint is that the insole may feel slightly too big for the shoe and can wrinkle. However, since we typically wear the shoe without it, we decided to remove it altogether.
