About this deal

Our rail squares are compatible with a wide range of brands, including Festool, Mafell, Milwaukee, Bosch, Makita, Flex, Triton, and many more, making them suitable for 99 percent of guide rails.

I don’t think you can ever completely trust a rail square as to me, there are so many tiny things you can do to affect it, over a distance. Within this product range you will find a variety of different Guide Rails including the Guide Rails of up to 5000mm, Guide Rails with rows of holes, as well as a vast range of accessories and consumable materials. Make sure when you set the rail, the grip strips aren't causeing the rail to bind on the work surface.

Yeah, I seem to have a lot of issues with the little cam levers coming loose. When you engage them (at least on Makita rails this is) they don’t really have much travel as such, like you expect from a cam that comes in gradually. They’re just…on, or off. NEW! A shallow undercut along the square's mating edge makes it less sensitive to minor dings and debris along the outer edge of the guide rail

The Taiga Rail Square is machined on the latest CNC equipment using 6082 aluminium, which is the highest strength aluminium in the 6000 series. 6082 aluminium is typically used in the construction of trusses, bridges and cranes – but due to its very low weight and incredible strength, this grade aluminium is also the ultimate material for manufacturing precision components. Slide the rail square on to the rail and pull square with your thumb in the circular recess. Secure the rail to the square firmly in place, by gently tightening the thumbscrews.Consequently, the slightest vibration such as using the saw, or putting the rail against the wall temporarily between cuts, will very often cause them to come loose and the rail can slide off onto the floor, or sometimes I’m all set up ready to make the cut and I notice one is loose. Offering safe and perfectly straight power tool guidance, a splinter guard for splinter free sawing and a protective surface, all of our guide rails will allow you to achieve precise cuts without the need for rework. Previously I had made my own plywood square which has been incredibly accurate. I have attached to a Benchdogs fence to that one, allowing repeat cuts out to 1.2m but it is a bit cumbersome.
