About this deal

As befits his position, the fabricator-general of Mars has a permanent seat on the council that runs the Imperium, known as the Senatorum Imperialis of the High Lords of Terra. Many magi explorator command the explorator fleets that continue to push outward the frontiers of the Imperium or even serve alongside Rogue Traders. Organicists- A faction who see flesh as a machine, and upgrade themselves with lab-grown enhancements. [25]

Alium Union- Believe that those who toil can serve the Quest for Knowledge as well as the high profile adepts. [27b] Badian, Ernst (2015-12-22). "Valerius Flaccus (2), Lucius, Roman censor, 97 BCE". Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Classics. doi: 10.1093/acrefore/9780199381135.013.6672. ISBN 978-0-19-938113-5 . Retrieved 2022-12-27. During the Horus Heresy, the Mechanicum like most other branches of the Imperial military, found itself divided in loyalty. Many Mechanicum units declared for the Warmaster Horus, some retained their loyalty to the Imperium and some seceded altogether to remain neutral during the conflict. [38] The locations of the surviving Forge Worlds and Mechanicus Knight Worlds after the formation of the Great Rift in 999.M41Lord Commander Militant • Warmaster (Lord Solar) • Lord Commander • Lord General Militant • Lord General • General Although most Imperial Guardsmen revere their vehicles' Machine Spirits enough not to irritate an Enginseer by committing blasphemy in the form of "customisation," the modification of vehicles to fulfill a certain need is inevitable, much to the horror of any Enginseers' religious principles. Mars Expands and the Founding of the Mechanicum (M25-M30) - The beleaguered people of Mars overcome strife and disaster to reunite beneath the aegis of the newly-established theocracy of the Cult Mechanicus and the governing organisation of the Tech-priests known as the "Mechanicum." The Mechanicum Parliament is established, comprised of senior Tech-priests and magi, to govern the Red Planet. As lulls between the waves of Warp storms allow, the fleets of Mars travel outwards, raiding for lost technology and establishing new colonies of Tech-adepts dedicated to the worship of the Machine God that will grow into new Forge Worlds. With a few exceptions, such travels remain limited in scope and stay within the confines of what will later become known as the Segmentum Solar. A Rune-priest is a Tech-priest who is responsible for performing the rituals required by the Cult Mechanicus' doctrines for the awakening of Machine Spirits. These rituals involve the scribing of runes and the chanting of Cult Mechanicus liturgies over the devices to be so awakened. Tech-priests are members of the Cult Mechanicus, the Cult of the Machine, a priesthood which forms an ecclesiastical hierarchy of technicians, scientists, and religious leaders who believe that knowledge represents the only true divinity in the universe.

There is no single overreaching description of the Salii's rituals throughout the month of March from any of the ancient authors, and facts have to be reconstructed from multiple mentions in diverse works; however, there are strong indications that the procession may actually have lasted a full 24days, from March1st which opened the festival until March24th, which closed it, with the procession moving from one station to another each day, and with revels being held each evening; a complete assessment can be found in Smith, Wayte, & Marindin (1890). [33] No longer the master of its creations, the Cult Mechanicus is enslaved to the past. It maintains the glories of yesteryear with rite, dogma and edict instead of true discernment and comprehension. Rune-priests are famous (or infamous by the standards of the more logic-minded Tech-priests) for their unorthodox solutions when strict logic and standard procedures prove inadequate to the task at hand. Regardless, the presence of a Genetor, particularly a Xenobiologist, is seen as an asset by explorator fleets and Rogue Traders alike, as their knowledge of Human and inhuman forms allows them to discern the nature of a newly-encountered xenos or indigenous species, or categorise a new strain of Abhuman found on a far-flung world. The most notable fabricator locum in history was named Zagreus Kane. He sided with the Emperor of Mankind during the Horus Heresy and the Schism of Mars and thus maintained at least some crucial Mechanicum support for the Loyalists.

Many Master Adepts like Kelbor-Hal longed to pursue these restricted lines of research and had long believed that the Emperor was not the Omnissiah of the Machine God, for the true Machine God dwelled in the Noctis Labyrinthus deep below the crust of Mars. That this legendary creature may actually have been the C'tan shard known as the Void Dragon is a disturbing possibility. Smith, William, ed. There are higher ranks within the divisiones that are variations of the magos title, including archmagos and archmagos veneratus. It is not known what the specific connotations of these titles are, though presumably they are indicative of greater seniority, status and experience within the chosen discipline. Liberalia ... In the books of the Salii they are named of the Agonenses, perhaps this day is thence rather named Agonia.]

Calculus Logi labour night and day to catalogue its history, though they disclose it not. Only a handful of events are allowed to reach the annals of Imperial truth:Inquisitor • Commissar • Priest • Tech-Priest • Enginseer • Sanctioned Psyker • Primaris Psyker • Wyrdvane Psyker The birthplace of the Adeptus Mechanicus was the ancient Forge World of Mars. Mars was colonised very early in human history, long before the start of even the Dark Age of Technology, and developed a society different from Terra both culturally and in terms of technological advancement. The arid, rusty surface of Mars was terraformed, and under a man-made oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere, the Martian colony flourished, though it remained politically independent from Terra. When the era of human interstellar colonisation began, both Terra and Mars served as the co-equal mother worlds of countless new human colonies across the galaxy. Versnel, H.S. (1994). The story: legend tells of a foolhardy expedition, led by the radical Magos Telok, that ventured out into the unknown space beyond the Halo Worlds in search of the 'Breath of the Gods' - an arcane device with the power to unmake and reshape the very stars themselves. Thousands of years later, the ambitious Lexell Kotov musters his Adeptus Mechanicus Explorator fleet and sets out to follow in mad old Telok's footsteps. With the might of the Imperial Guard and the Space Marines to augment his own forces, he searches for the hidden clues that will lead him to greatest power that the galaxy has ever known. But who knows what ancient perils may yet lie outside the Imperium and the dominion of mankind?
