So if you’re just looking for a portable device for watching movies or TV shows, you could do a lot worse. The main issue performance-wise is with navigation speed, as there’s a slight delay when swiping between menus, tapping on the screen to type, or opening a new app. Anyone who’s used lower-end tablets or phones will be used to this, as it’s just a symptom of middling specs, but the Galaxy Tab can be a little frustrating to use at times as a result, and, crucially the lower-end iPads don’t have this problem.
