I’m disappointed simply because the figure is a relatively striking addition to my display and I’d have liked to give him some more menacing poses, but alas, we cannot always get what we want. Travel between the domains without permission was a crime and disputes were settled before the throne of Doom himself, and his Sheriff, Steven Strange acting as prosecutor and judge.

This Retro 375 Collection Doctor Doom action figure is inspired by the character’s appearance in the comics, and makes a great addition to any Marvel action figure collection For example, you may see a Thor action figure with the likeness of actor Chris Hemsworth (who is noted for playing the God of Thunder across several live-action movies), but this is contrasted with a comic-accurate Wolverine, outfitted in his signature yellow costume. Hasbro Marvel Legends Helmets The skirt and hood and cape are all a bit of a hindrance for the range of various ranges of motion on this figure, but this isn’t Spider-Man—it’s Doctor Doom. For my purposes, I can achieve most of the poses I’d ever envision putting this maniacal monarch into. Your dynamic posing needs may vary. Galactus and Doctor Doom are two of the most powerful forces in comics. However, the pair have come to blows on a few occasions with Victor Von Doom actually taking on the planet-eating force with a number of impressive weapons, including using the Cosmic Cube with Annihilus' Cosmic Rod. It's in that battle, Doctor Doom managed to successfully strip Galactus of his powers, and grow into a threat on the Devourer of World's level. In a story on Earth-18466, Doom actually saved Earth from Galactus but ended up being consumed by hunger and ate the entire universe. In that arc, Emma Frost manages to get inside his mind and become the Lifebringer. Consisting of Dr. Doom, Lady Deathstrike, Dormammu, Arcade, the Red Skull, AIM Scientist Supreme, and The Hood, we are finally given some serious firepower to compete with our heroes.I’ve been inundated with folks asking when I’ll be reviewing ML Doom, so I’ll defer to the wishes of the masses and make Johnny Storm wait a wee bit longer for the spotlight. Sorry, Human Torch fans! Von Doom’s left hand is perfectly posed for giving a monologue on how Victor will crush Richards, while his right hand has a smoothly-working trigger finger for securely aiming the included pistol.

All the joints are tight and hold position well, and none of the plastic feels likely to rip or tear easily. Paint deco is clean and neat to the human eye, although I can see a few trivial imperfections in hi-res photos I can’t see normally. The colors of the tunic and armor look swell to me, and I’ve got no complaints about the detailing when looking at it with my own eyes. Though his features are obscured by his easily recognizable armored mask, the cold malevolence in the eyes is enough to give one pause. The skirts are supposed to be fairly pliable (they were on both my previous Doom figures) which should allow for leg movement.
