After considering his options, Tetsuo decides to create the impression that Nobuto is still alive. They interview Nobuto's girlfriend Hibiki at the club where she works and she mentions Nobuto's exploitation of Reika, enraging Tetsuo, however he manages to extract some useful information from her - Nobuto ripped off his gang by carrying out a pre-planned robbery himself. As Tetsuo and Kyoichi are about to leave they are coerced into carrying out a job for the club owners, to intercept a transaction between two violent gangs, the Ryuken-gumi and the Ouko-tai. At the meeting point on a deserted road, Kyoichi realizes that they are doomed and tries to drive off, but he is shot and wounded as they try to escape.

The author puts you in the main character's position and it feels very realistic. The stuff that happens seem unlikely to happen yet the author still manages to make you feel like it could. The only complaint I have is that the main character is a little too composed in certain situations but even then, there isn't much he can do except be calm. My Home Hero is not a flashy series in any sense. The characters and events are rooted in mundane life and even the more outlandish elements introduced have never left me feeling they couldn’t exist or happen in the world I know. This is a story about people who have You could argue that Tetsuo engages in this as well, given that he calls himself a “murderer”, despite his actions being the clearest-cut case of self-defense you could ask for. Where It All Began: Upon verifying that Nobuto is actually dead, Matsuri heads to the apartment when he was fatally ambushed by Tetsuo, falling to his knees roughly where he guesses his body would have fallen to mourn his absent son in the closest possible form he has left. This pitiful display of genuine familial love spurns Tetsuo, who was hiding in the apartment as well, to reveal himself and admit his guilt to Matsuri, begging to be punished alone for the sin he committed against the other father. So, what you came here for, is this show good? Well, not really, it is not great, but you know what it is? It is way better than the insulting cookie cutter shows that comprise the majority of the seasonal production. My Home Hero depicts of a realistic middle aged man, who, in the heat of the moment, killed a person, and needs to cover up his crime.
