About this deal

Hacivat is a figure of a well-known Turkish shadow play and the fragrance house Nishane (also from Turkey) has chosen this name for one of its most famous fragrances Hacivat is said to be an educated man who likes to talk pompously, but is far from being free of mistakes. Whether there is a connection to the scent here, everyone must decide for himself ;) Why on earth pineapple?! I don't get it. What Yesterday by the Beatles in cover songs is pineapple for men's fragrance. If I sing Yesterday louder, it doesn't mean the song gets better Hacivat is a gradiose fragrance and definitely a must try for all Aventus fans. Both are on a very high level, and depending on my mood I prefer one or the other. Notes: The top notes of Nishane Afrika Olifant are labdanum, myrrh, olibanum, and ambergris. The middle notes are oud, leather, civet, and castoreum. The base notes are musk and civet.

The house of Nishane is a relatively new fragrance house. But, despite not being around as long as other fragrance houses, Nishane has already created some well-respected masterpieces. But what are the best Nishane fragrances for men? The House Of Nishane And Its Fragrances The positive thing about loud and strong, however, is that such a fragrance is often very pleasant from a distance and fills the room with an attractive aura. But somebody has to wear the fragrance and then has it right under his nose. And that is (at least for me) really no pleasure. The heart of the fragrance is dominated by vibrant citruses and a heavy dose of ambroxan. I can also detect something floral, but it’s clear that the jasmine used here is an aroma chemical replacement, and nothing like the pure jasmine oil from Grasse that we can see in scents such as Chanel No.5. To my nose, cedarwood is undetectable until the full dry down where you can feel that Iso E Super lifting from the base.As NISHANE, we used scents as a language. A language, speaks louder than words itself, maybe is even able to go beyond words. And have 4 scents to tell our stories behind today’s Action, Time, Place, Belief concepts. Four of them are all created to tell mysteries of the humanity’s experiences by the most renowned and distinguished perfumers of our time. Our test candidate today starts with a very present and strikingly sweet pineapple. Reminds me directly... ...of sweet, slightly too bold pineapple. Granted: The base note also enchants me. The headache stuff has warped and the radiant fruit blossom looks very attractive. I think it is a fair assessment to state that Hacivat Oud could be the biggest niche release this year in terms of prospect and/or expectation, certainly for the premium niche price point.

The scent opens similar to the standard fruity chypre profile that everybody knows now from scents like Aventus, Hacivat etc. However, I notice that this smells bright - where's the oud? It is mild to the point where the first accord I notice when smelling the scent after the top notes fade is one of a sweet, minty freshness. By minute 15, the accords are more clearer in that I notice the same vanilla visible in Ani Extrait de Parfum, yet the flanking minty-fresh patchouli is the note here that is the equivalent of the oakmoss in the original Hacivat. By the 1 hour mark, the scent is exclusively made up of this patchouli. In the drydown, I find a lot of resemblance to Clive Christian's Anniversary Collection - 150: Timeless which similarly has a sweetened minty-aromatic drydown with lavender & vetiver.

#Product Details#

A Hacivatby Nishane unisex illat segítségével Mert Güzel és Murat Katran kreatív igazgatók, Jorge Lee parfümőr kreatív szakmai segítségével Karagoz & Hacivat legendáját kívánták a mai korba helyezni. Egy parfümtrilógia részeként, a 2017-ben megjelenő SHADOW PLAY” névre keresztelt kollekcióhoz kapcsolva hagyományos árnyjátékkal képzelték el a megvalósítást, mely az Oszmán Birodalomhoz tartozó nemzetállamok többségében igen népszerű és nagy múltra visszatekintő előadási forma. It is precisely these properties that have been brought into an almost perfect balance in Hacivat, so that I have to smell this bottle at least once a day - yes, I'm crazy - and I can't help but smell it. For daily wearing it is simply too good for me, especially considering the price! If you spray it, you are immediately enveloped by an extremely intense cloud, a cloud in which pineapple clearly dominates and - similar to Aventus - is underpinned by a graphite note. The grapefruit also gives it a slightly acidic and citric note. The cedar that slowly joins in rounds off the whole and gives additional freshness. Joa and that stays like that for hours. With me it lasts about 14-18 hours and that with 3-4 sprayers. Also the Sillage is monstrous, my colleague could still clearly perceive it around me after 8 hours. Consequently, more than 2 spray bursts should be avoided. If you relate this again to the price, it almost seems appropriately priced (fun!). Towards the end, you will have a light, clean veil on your skin, which you can still easily notice the next morning. Wonderful! I'd suggest this one for when you really, truly want to get people's attention. I understand it's a compliment magnet (perhaps even moreso than Aventus itself,) and it could be the right thing if you're a bit concerned everyone smells like Aventus these days, and if you have a lot of money to throw around.

The house of Nishane has a fantastic assortment of different fragrances. They have a unique and interesting one for every season, as well as every occasion. When you judge the house of Nishane purely by their scents, their fragrances are more than worth it. They smell unique and different, while still being crowd-pleasing. This will make sure you smell different from the crowd, in the best possible way. Hacivat unites in its fragrance complexity everything that is important to me in fragrances: freshness, longevity, graphite note/chalky undertone wood, light fruit chords, extreme cleanliness and wearable all year round. I love the opening of Hacivat. The tartness of grapefruit and bergamot, combined with the juicy and semi-sweet realistic pineapple, literally wakes up all of your senses. It’s a spectacular opening that almost anyone would love. I mean, who doesn’t love the smell of crisp fruits and citruses? This fresh start is powerful, and you can see that Nishane didn’t cheap out on the oils inside. It’s a refined and skillfully blended composition thanks to the talented Jorge Lee.Actually, the price plays a minor role in the evaluation of a perfume, because none of us carries a price tag around with us, which is clearly visible to others and tells how much we paid for this pleasure. A fragrance is judged as it is. Nevertheless, the two are in a price category (200€+) where you should ask yourself if it's worth to leave both of them at your place. Because they are a bit too similar. So if you already have the Aventus at home, or don't like it, you should perhaps be satisfied with a small sample. Except for the price, I really can't find anything that would bother me about him! If I had to choose a fragrance that I keep from my collection, it would clearly be Hacivat. Niche houses similar to Nishane are Tiziana Terenzi, Penhaligon’s, Nasomatto, Carner Barcelona, and Xerjoff! Conclusion: Hacivat is in my eyes a successful sparkling citrus fragrance with woody-green undertones and fruity nuances. However, who expects an Aventus clone with better durability and silage, will probably be disappointed.

Nishane's Hacivat Extrait de Parfum first appeared on the market in 2017 and has earned quite a reputation. Jorge Lee, Murat Ukrstalspeczservis and Mert Güzel are the designers behind this memorable classic. Extraits, like this one, are the most expensive and concentrated form of parfum, with a **proportion of essentials between 20-40%. ** Apply them sparingly. A few drops are enough. Because they are so concentrated, they contain less alcohol. This makes them the best choice for people with sensitive skin. A Symphonic Composition Here there is artificial wood, ambroxan and in the base a powerful synthetic orange blossom that is fruitful. Like a sliced pineapple with orange blossom in it. This reminds me very much of the orange blossom of Kurkjan's Petit Matin On the other hand, I do not need to say many introductory words about Aventus, as its reputation already precedes it. Aventus is already known as THE pineapple-wood scent and everything similar is often labeled as a cheap clone experiment I'm just gonna take a little off the top of my head here.

I have to say that when I first tried Nishane Hacivat, the opening had me excited. The heart notes got me thinking about whether everything was going downhill, and the dry down somehow redeemed itself by presenting the green aspects of oakmoss. The sweet zestiness from the opening and the fuzziness from the middle stage are still present here, with a twist of clean and green woody oakmoss. You don’t have to worry about smelling like something from the ’70s or ’80s; the oakmoss here is done in a modern way but adds a touch of maturity. These fragrances are made in collaboration with some of the finest perfumers, and that shows. Many Nishane fragrances have recently gained the spotlight, purely because of how nice they are. Although the fragrance house is quite young, names like Nishane Ani and Nishane Hacivat are already becoming staples in the fragrance world.
