Ronnie Fieg has taken to social media to share photos of two upcoming pairs of the Kith x New Balance 1700 “Canada”. Overshadowed by the MT version, the lesser known sibling of the New Balance 580 family turned plenty of heads in its day and helped usher New Balance into the ’90s running market. Featuring the team up of a chunky Rollbar system at the core and the more familiar choice of Encap cushioning below, the shoe further pushed the limits of NB running innovation from top to bottom. Both Canadian-themed NB 1700s feature premium pigskin suede and Kith branding in the form of the Kith classic logo appears at the heel.
