Our professional formulation is ideal for anyone who wants salon performance products that aren't highly scented or crammed with unnecessary additives. Important:Please note this product does not produce lots of lather (due to a reduction in chemicals that cause this effect) but still cleanses hair and scalp effectively.

For years I’ve suffered with sensitive and problematic skin and with that comes issues. Using normal everyday products and cosmetics often means reactions, irritation and general hypersensitivity. Despite looking, I’m yet to find a good allergy friendly haircare range… until now!Whilst it is tested under dermatological control it does contain Linalool/ Limonene which can irritate those with an allergy. At Olsson we do include SLES in our cosmetics formulation, it’s a more processed version of SLS, formulated to be kinder on the skin. It is derived from SLS through a process called ethoxylation (where ethylene oxide is introduced. This process reorganises the compound making it much gentler on the skin and hair. Unlike SLS, Sodium Laureth Sulfate won’t aggravate your scalp or strip it of any excess moisture. From the products that I’ve tried so far, the hero product for me is their Sensitive Hairspray! Game.Changed! Developed alongside leading Scandinavian pro hair stylists, it is a medium-hold hairspray with added Pro-Vitamin B5 which offers a flexible hold (which can be brushed through and reworked). I’ve found a little goes a long way so if you just need a little help with flyaway hairs, a light mist will do. Alternatively if you need a stronger hold, you can layer it up to achieve the results. A light spray on my styled hair leaves my hair with a healthy and natural shine and guess what?! No skin reaction!! None. Nada! The Sensitive Conditioner (Normal/Dry) is a lovely mild formula which again contains Aloe Vera, for it’s enhanced soothing and moisturising properties as well as Vitamin E for powerful antioxidant treatment and is designed to work on all hair types.Balmonds offer a natural shampoo which is free of perfume, soap and SLS’s. It’s light formula doubles up as a body wash and is gentle enough to be used on babies from just 6 weeks. It’s great as it doesn’t contain any of the irritating synthetic nasties those with allergy-prone skin might want to avoid so is our product of choice for my boys weekly post-swim shower. It’s made with herbal extracts and is plant-based with sensitive skin in mind. I love that it’s a multi-purpose wash which means using it in the shower won’t upset the skin on your body as it is so mild and gentle. I love this for my boys as a shampoo and body wash and like to take it to the gym for my post-workout shower product.
