Občas jsem akorát měla pocit, že autorka zapomíná, že nevidíme svět jejíma očima a některé věci, které jí nejspíš přišly jasné, mi ani po několikátém přečtení prostě nedocházely. Stalo se tak, že nám předložila informaci s určitým způsobem, jak bychom ji měli vnímat nebo jak je vnímaná okolím postav, ale už z toho nebylo jasné proč. Někdy přišlo vysvětlení o pár kapitol dál, jindy nepřišlo vůbec.

It might have taken me a good year to actually get to this book, but here I am and I'm so damn ready to jump into this, you have no idea!!! I'm going to live all my k-pop dreams while I read this. *lol* And now excuse me while I melt! <3 Sori was a relatable character and I loved getting to read about her. I loved getting to read about Sori as she tried to figure out what she wanted to do with their life and how to help her family. Nathaniel was such a fun character. It was fun to read about him from Sori’s eyes. He grew a lot throughout this book and I loved how steady he was. He was always ready to help Sori. Setting my romance disappointment aside, the writing is well done, and I flew through every single chapter. My favorite part was Seoul Arts Academy. I was fully invested in the goings-on at SAA and might’ve given this book a higher rating if it was centered around the school and students. I also loved all the mentions of food, even though it made me insanely hungry. Every single dish sounds delicious, and I need to find a local Korean restaurant ASAP. Those factors saved this book, bringing my rating to a total of three stars. I think “XOXO” will appeal much more to readers of this genre who are used to cute romances and young adult behavior. I can only handle so much before I’m annoyed so I’m definitely not a member of the target audience. However, the friendships and school shenanigans won my heart so I will be rereading this book in the future.When she arrives at the school, she unexpectedly runs into Jaewoo who turns out to be the most popular idol in Korea’s most popular boy band, XOXO. You can think of the plotline as True Beauty meets Dream High plus any cheesy and fun pop-star Wattpad story. Finally I finished reading sorry I didn't update* This started out PRETTY good, but then ended up being lamer than I expected which was really sad. If you want a solid K-pop book, read Bias!
