About this deal

This didn’t quite hit the highs of Worst Best Man but the fab family vibes are such a great time especially Natalia’s scenes – that girl is a riot in both books 🤣 Frankie and Aiden are GOALS people! Their chemistry, romance, and love was on fire. I'm so sad that this book is over right now. I already miss the crap out of them.

The book introduces readers to both Lina’s family and Max’s. Where Lina’s family is warm and involved in each other’s lives, Max’s family is more distant from each other. How did you go about crafting each family’s unique dynamic? Did you set out to have the families be foils or mirrors of each other in specific ways? I loved Solange’s family. I always get so jealous of characters with families like these that are really nosy but are always there for you. Even Dean wanted to get into the bliss that comes with a family like this. Cute and VERY steamy but a few too many relationships of convenience/fake dating going on for me! The plot was all over the place. What make me deduct 1 star is the length of this book. Its too dragging in some part with un necessary drama. The first 20% of the book was a mess. The whole wedding made me shake my head so much. I wasn't expecting to have that much drama at the start of the story, and something that's honestly absurd and unnecessary. The story slows down after that whole drama, and it kind of becomes boring when you compare it to the scenes that happened before. Is Mia Sosa becoming an all-time favourite author of mine after only reading two books by her? Possibly.

I really loved Pru. What a great friend. She was getting married and Frankie was the one that was all over the place. They're best friends so I did love their loyalty to each other. Latina Romance Author Mia Sosa: From Practiced to Published, Diverse-Romance.com, 3 July 2019 , retrieved 15 June 2020 A very likeable romance premised on double fake dating, which is to say they each have to be the other's faux-partner for different reasons and in different circumstances. One of which is 'hero needs a girlfriend to get a chance at partnership in his law firm'. I have to admit that I struggle with this particular premise, partly because I cannot conceive of an employer giving a monkey's about any of their employees having a personal life, and also because I can't help feeling that a law firm in particular would be aware of the issues re denying advancement opportunities to single staff in a "massive lawsuit waiting to happen" way, but whatever. I think the P&P comparison was misplaced. This was nothing like P&P at all. The rom-com aspect was also debatable. I did not find this book funny at all. It's not my kind of humor. If you like The Hangover 3 type of humor then you'll probably enjoy this book. I wasn't a fan. Catfights and girls insulting each other was never funny to me. To a 12-year old boy, it'd probably be hilarious but not to me. Wedding coordinator Carolina Santos is left at the altar. Three years later, she has an opportunity to win a dream job. She is assigned a marketing specialist - Max Hartwell, her former fiancé's brother. While working together, the two eventually fall in love.Franchesca is the maid of honor at her best friend's wedding. She loves her best friend dearly, as well as the groom. The rest of the wedding party, though? They're pretty awful. Rich, vapid, and shallow. Everything Frankie is not. Then there is the richest of the richest, best man Aiden Killbourn. He may be rich, but Aiden is a great guy. Frankie just has trouble seeing it at first. Frankie and Aiden butt heads and when they have to work together to save the wedding they're involved in, they get to know each other a little bit better.

I can tell you that it’s Dean and Solange’s story. Solange is Lina’s cousin and appears only briefly in The Worst Best Man , and I can’t wait for everyone to truly meet her. I’m still writing the story, though, so I think I’ll leave it at that for now. *grins mischievously* Lucy Score is a new to me author, but boy is she GOOD!!! She managed to balance the witty, snarky, and smart-mouthed characters I adore, with a story that was refreshingly different. Mia Sosa is half Puerta Rican and half Brazilian. She was raised by her divorced mother and her mother's two sisters, whose marriages had also failed. [1] Sosa's first book was published in 2015. [2] The meet-cute was hilarious. Our heroine crashes the wedding of the hero after overhearing that his soon-to-be-bride is in love with someone else. Said bride declared it out loud. Our heroine just couldn’t stand by and let the hero marry and so she blurts it out at the ceremony. Without knowing the full story. He WAS as bad as his half brother, the only difference? If he committed felony? He wouldn't have been caught.
