CapnRex101 said: "Among various LEGO quality issues, improving the consistency of printed colours must be a priority." The vibrant combination of white, lime green and pink looks brilliant too, particularly since those colours continue on the arms. Moreover, the legs are dual-moulded and decorated with metallic silver panels, which also adorn the sides of the legs. Triangular symbols provide further detail on both sides of the torso. Inevitably, the Brown Astronaut and Spacebaby have dominated discussion around this whole series of Collectable Minifigures. The astronaut from Classic Space was available in five colours between 1978 and 1984 and several more have been introduced recently. Reddish brown is an unusual colour for an astronaut, but something distinctive is welcome.

The shape of the head also resembles bigger LEGO dinosaurs, while the rubbery tail is correctly proportioned for a Tyrannosaurus rex. I think the head could be improved though, as the roaring and smiling expressions are very similar to other Collectable Minifigures. Perhaps this character could have worn a mask on one side of the head, forming the inside of a Tyrannosaurus' jaws. Replacing the white dog from the aristocrat instead with a mask on bar (or hand-fan) that she could hold up to her face would fit better into rococo fashion.NOTE: The LEGO® Group provided this set for free. However, the provision of products does not guarantee a favorable review. I will provide my honest opinion about these characters. A note on distribution…

A simple potter's wheel accompanies this minifigure, along with a pair of clay creations. Neither the goblet nor the bowl has been produced in dark orange before and it has been noted that the goblet double as the Holy Grail, as the fabled treasure appears in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.Omg a brand new Classic Space Astronaut colour – Brown! I’m guessing they’re in charge of Space Sanitation. And he has a Baby! I was disappointed with 71034 Collectable Minifigures Series 23 towards the end of last year, as the series felt jumbled and included relatively few outstanding characters. Thankfully, this series represents a definite return to form. Almost every minifigure is highly detailed and many portray long-overlooked subjects within the Collectable Minifigures theme, covering varied interests. Hopefully the accompanying Spacebaby would avoid such disappointment, as this tiny figure is absolutely adorable! The combined torso, legs and arms element is consistent with other LEGO babies, while the head, helmet and air tanks comprise a single new piece. Additionally, a printed baby monitor is supplied and retains the familiar style of Classic Space technology, which is truly ingenious. I think the 'star' symbol on the robot is supposed to be some form of propulsion, otherwise I could not think of a reason for the hole in the helmet." Ah. In the US, the majority of people probably never shop at a greengrocer, and a huge chunk of the population pluralizes with an apostrophe (and persistently mixes up homonyms, and persistently spells commonly used words wrong, and…), so nobody refers to it by a specific name.

The Dinosaur one while cute is another that I don't need more than one of. And he needs a prop, maybe a micro fig or roller skate to eat. Like sporting characters, robots appear frequently among Collectable Minifigures and the Robot Warrior looks marvellous. The minifigure takes obvious influence from anime, consisting almost exclusively of geometric shapes. I love the yellow eyes peering through the helmet and the sand green colour is attractive, matching the chest armour.

While the minifigure is good, his accessory is the highlight. The new koala element is absolutely delightful, faithfully recreating the marsupial's large nose and ears. The moulded arms are clever in particular, as these can firmly grip the provided plant stem. This stem has not been produced in lime green before, so is another welcome addition. And for your further enjoyment, here are more high resolution photos of each Series 24 minifigure! FootballReferee RobotWarrior BrownAstronaut andSpacebaby Spaceman n baby - feel for dad's airtank - I don't know how anyone who's ever had a dad or a baby can not just melt a little at this set. The fact that dad is 'crap-colored'- as someone put it - just makes it better. We Dads know where we stand. Just finished opening my full set. This is an extraordinary group of figs. I'm disappointed that I didn't get a full box rather than just the 12. They're that good.

And she generally only plays with Friends, Harry Potter and Vidiyo sets and figures. Classic Space has never been an interest of hers. I loved the Fantasy Era while growing up, so would have appreciated a more direct tribute to its memorable minifigures. However, this warrior's imposing appearance is undeniable and the jaw element looks fantastic, recreating the aforementioned prominent teeth. The tattered red cape is striking too, but there is a noticeable colour difference between the dark red printing on the Orc's legs and the hip piece. Collectible minifigures – LEGO® fans can build their collections with 1 of 12 characters from the set in every bag, accompanied by at least one accessory and a collector’s leafletWhat I have on display here is mainly my Modulars, Creator Expert cars, larger Technic sets from about 2010 to 2018, and some Ideas sets as well as MOCs. And more recently lots of train sets and accessory buildings from that German competitor that must not be named. ;-) Also, I think reviving the rectangular shields from the original faction would have been helpful, as their angular shape was important to the Trolls' aesthetic. The design on the shield is effective though, forming stretched leather. Also, the heavy sword remains unchanged from 2007, as this weapon has appeared quite consistently since then. And I’ll be forever disappointed in any airport display that doesn’t include at least one koala ominously clutching the landing gear of a plane that’s about to take off. And the newsboy is a standout example of another sort of figure that's great to see in the collectible minifigures — the sort of familiar archetype that's never had a theme or subtheme built around them (and isn't even one you'd expect to see in most themes/subthemes), but that builders can then build new models and tell new stories around. In Dave Duncan’s Great Game trilogy, WWI-era British who travel to another plane of existence end up coming across a race of white redheads, who they refer to as Carrots. And that’s all I can think of now when I see the carrot costume.
