However, I was not expecting to pick up a book that made me feel, see, and smell so many things like I was actually in that universe. I also hated the main character, for reasons I'll exclude for the fact that I don't want to spoil anything for others.There was one big writing/character choice that really irritated me, but even as much as it bothered me I still immediately dove into the sequel because it's so suspenseful, I have to know what happens next.
